2) he is an entertaining mix of responsible man and nutty boy; and
3) he is a horndog that gives me butterflies.
When a man can stand out like that from the written page (and make me want to jump my husband), he deserves to be my book boyfriend.

Because I haven’t felt this drawn to a character in…well a damn long time, if ever. He is a snarky son of a bitch, acts like he’s a badass, but most of the time he is far more vulnerable than he wants anyone to know he is. I love the fact that he now embraces his feelings for Perry and strives to be a good enough man to deserve her. And hell…I love how truly perverted and twisted he is. Just when I think I have him all figured out, he throws another curve ball in the mix. And I love that.

So.…to sum up. Dex is my ultimate book boyfriend. He might be a sarastic asshat at times, but I love him just the same. :)

And Dex pretty much has. He’s become one of my favoritr male characters of any series I’ve read. Thus, perfect book boyfriend of the year.
